    FS: 1991 318is

I've been sold into getting an e34 540i, so now I have to sell this car and search for a 5er to buy. The car handles great, everything feels real tight.

The car will be sold with a bent valve, I will repair the fender and valence, and put on new fogs, but there will be no IS lip or splitter. I could possibly include another head with the car, and you'd be responsible for putting it on the car. Vanos was replaced last week. Engine has unknown miles, and unknown year. 268,000 original miles.

Some of the pics will show no M coupe shift knob, and no 540i HFM, but those parts are waiting for me in AZ, and will be put on in three days.

I was going to get the bent valve and IS lip fixed, but the guy I bought the engine from no longer wants to cover the charge of getting a new head on the car.

As is, the car will pace an M50 e30. I will include M52 manifolds if you want to increase air flow (with little exhaust work to get them to fit). At it's full potential, the car will pace S50 e30s. Car will also come with IS side skirts.

The rack and column are fine, but the u-joint at the bottom of the column needs to be replaced...not the entire column.

The mod list has been edited to show what is currently on the car.

The car will also come with a non-vanos (bigger valves) head, that you can convert to vanos with the brand new vanos on the current head.

Got the replacement fender and valence on:

If you're going to fix it anyway- why on earth would you want to sell it for a 540? I mean, I realize it has a 6speed and everything, which dont get me wrong, e34s are awesome.... but dude- m52e30...

But really, I think you should just part it out and sell me your flywheel/non-vanos head.

I realize it would be insane when complete, but I want something that I won't keep draining my wallet on with mods. With the 540i, I need 18x9.5 M parallels and brake upgrades, and I'd be happy with it. I'll be back with an e30 one day though, and you'll all bow down to it.

Seriously, listen to this man Jeremy. After seeing a 540/6 in the driveway for about a year (brothers), I just can't imagine daily-driving a car like that at my position in college. Gas, Insurance, Parts. Hell I'm considering going to a stock 318is for a daily driver.

I've been driving our infinity q45 around while my car has been down for the last couple months...

$70/week in gas is not fun.

                        That is all.

FWIW the car Jeremy here is selling is QUICK.

With his mods he is easily as fast/faster then a stock S50 in the same body.

He would walk me with a good margin.
