Well, title says it all, parting out an S38B35.
ATM I have the complete engine and wiring minus ECU. Before disassembly I checked compression at 170psi, all 6. I had it on the dyno before winter and it made 250whp. I took the head apart and removed pistons and rods to check for bearing damage. Bearings were worn, but no scratches, and one of the valves had a wrong clearance. It is white (too hot) but it's not leaking. I'm swapping an S54 turbo instead of rebuilding this one.
I will do a whole pack (remember, the engine is in "pieces") with the Getrag 280, longblock, ITBs, B38 plenum, all accesories, starter... the whole thing, for 1700 US.
If there's enough interest, I will part it out.
-Complete head (head, cam carrier, buckets, springs, cams and pulleys) 550 OBO
-Shortblock (block, oil pump, crank, pistons and rods) 450
-Getrag 280 (shifts nice, no leaks or anything) 600
-ITBs with injectors (just serviced) and fuel rail 450
