Well in the UK in the rear battery compartment you can either have a plastic tidy tray thing (oem) where you can sit a warning triange on its end first aid kit and a few other bits and bobs

      OR

you have the trunk mounted battery and a plastic tray (again oem) that fits over the top where the warning triangle sits horizontally etc.

I guess they arent as common for you guys? I think i have a spare non battery type tidy tray somewhere in my stash. I Will dig it out.

FORGOT TO SAY : $85 Shipped OBO

This is how it looks in the proper storage bin, which sits on top of the battery tray

^^That is so damned classy and practical all at the same time. Those West Germans really knew what was up. Is it really called a "tidy tray" by BMW of is that just some British moniker? I want one.

Robrez cheers, that is the "over battery type"

I have the non rear battery type, it looks even neater IMO

            I'll dig it out

                UPDATE!

I now have the warning triangle and 'trunk tidy tray' for sale!

I have 2 forum members asking about this little lot so they get dibs and have been PM'd but this is all OEM stuff.

I washed the tray out but it has some "rust staining" in the bottom as the car they were from had a leaky boot seal and some metal in the bottom of the tray. I gave it a clean with soap and a sponge but it is still there, so maybe you could scrub it with a scotch brite pad or something?

The edge of the tray is a bit out of shape, after 20 years it has probably had bits and bobs dropped on it in the boot but I reckon you could apply some heat to it and straighten it up a bit but it isn't that bad.

                And in situe...

                How much neater is that!

Classy BMW OEM Accesories that are hard to find in the UK!

(Obviously if your battery is in the trunk these WILL NOT FIT!!)

I want $200 shipped from th UK for all of it. (It will cost me $75 to send it easily).

Bump for a classy OEM product and good communication on the seller's part. I really want this, would look great in the vert, but just can't justify it right now. Someone give this package a good home.
