Perfect set of 80's vintage Recaro Trophys Sold!

I have a near perfect set of Recaro Trophys.

These are nearly identical to e21 recaros but with deeper bolsters. The side bolsters are nearly twice as deep as stock e30 sport seats. Trophys were OEM equipment on a few select top spec 16v MK2 vw's in the late 80's. A few of the black side bolsters were replaced by Jim's upholstery, a very reputable upholstery shop in my area. The cloth centers are all original with no rips tears or noticeable wear to speak of and good foam in all sections. All functions and mechanics work properly, the adjustment wheels are a little loose but work properly. The seat bottom suspension is in good shape and supports properly. Two sets of bmw brackets will be included allowing direct bolt in fitment in any 2002, e21 or e30. I would continue to hoard these but I am moving out of a storage unit and they take up too much room in my garage.

These seats will transform the interior of any car they are bolted in with a oem+ period correct look.

    SOLD!

Over on vw vortex these seats in excellent condition fetch over 1k when they come up for sale and then you still have to locate a rare or expensive set of brackets to mount them in your bmw so I feel my asking price is reasonable. If you are a serious buyer and feel my pricing is not fair or reasonable I would be happy to address you via PM. I am looking for replies with reasonable offers from serious buyers with money on hand.

    Super Deep Bolsters!

All ready to get picked up!

Thanks! I have spent literally days and several tanks of gas driving all over creation to obtain the seats, adapters and restore these seats to create the perfect e30 interior. I'll definitely regret selling these.

To reply to some questions and helpful info brought up via pm:
These seats originally had a powered base in an MK2 but they are currently on manual sliders from an e21 320is (two inner slider sets are used on each seat for direct e30 fitment) original e21 outer sliders are also included for mounting in e21/2002's. Seatback adjustment is via a knob on the center console side of the seat. The frame rails are standard recaro mounting holes so other brackets and adapters can be used for different applications such as Massive etc. They are noticeably lighter than a e30 sport seat.

Not at all I can drop them off as early as Wednesday if I receive a paypal. Funny you should mention fedex my e30 buddy works there and could assist in proper packaging. Shipping to Sacramento should be fairly reasonable from 92109. Greyhound may be a good option for you as well.
