What kind of mounting support does this have? Can you show pic? Is this specifically for an e30 or does it require a DIY installation adaptation?

it mount exactly like any other e30.you just need to wire it up, i believe its just ground and power.

Some of the map light mirrors I've seen in e30's have extra support bracing back to the windshield to prevent the mirror from vibrating due to the extra weight...So this one doesn't have that? Is vibration movement while driving a problem?

i have never seen one of those before. are you sure you're not talking about vert mirror?
