It's a long story, but this came off of an engine I sold and I plan to leave my car stock so I have no use for it. Worked great in the car it came out of.

Yeah, it's a bit older and doesn't have the UUC marking on it but they do still sell friction surfaces and hardware for it.

I do, but you'd need to put new straps on it. Two of them broke.

just picked up a spare pressure plate for this that doesn't need new straps.

this might be a noob question but does it need a balance after putting a new surface on it?

                          free bump for OP.

                          YES.

direct plug and play to a M20. use same mounting bolts as m50/s52
if you are using a s52 clutch on a M20 and g260 you will need to keep the G260 throw out bearing and pilot bearing. Also a 24V starter will need to be fitted.

overall its a direct plug and play upgrade to install any s52 full clutch kit into a M20.

I have driven myself a e30 touring with oem M20 engine and OEM G260 gearbox with a OEM BMW S52 clutch setup in third world country traffic. Was not bad.

I would spend the $20 to get it done, but I know several people that have not done so and had 0 problems. Balance at your discretion.
