This is the problem I have with a lot of people on forums like this. Yes you should support friends, long time members and sponsors. But people are so stuck on that, they blindly shun anyone new and don't allow any new products, vendors, or sponsors. You (and people like you) who would rather spam a competitors name in someones thread than allow something new, are the soul reason I haven't done a vendor App. On this forum.

This is not usual aluminum. It is strengthened and its chemical consistence is different. It is used mostly in ship building and machinery.

I`m very confident about this aluminum which I use. It can withstand pretty heavy impacts as I have experienced it by myself. Here in Estonia we have pretty bumpy roads and if you lower your suspension, it is impossible to drive your e30 without breaking your sump at higher speeds. I also drive lots on gravel here, where I have been hitting rocks at high speed, but nothing has happened this far. My friends drive rally cross (both, in winter and summer time) and are using this plate. I have not heard any complaints from them also.

As for material strength, its tensile strength is 225 N/mm2 and yield point 164 N/mm2 according to certificate. Considering that, this skid plate has more strength than one made from 3 mm thick carbon steel.
Its the race skids plate, which is 10 guage steel. Which has mostly held up, but i have pretty heavily damaged. My plate is usually no more than an inch and a half off the ground

He already said in the original post that it doesn't have a hole for the plug for structural reasons and it needs to be removed to change oil

In that case I’m more than confident to offer you my plate.
My plate is fixed the same way to the body but in the front end you have to probably drill new holes. The main weakness in RS skids I see, are those holes. I guess they went that way because they wanted to lose weight. With my first skid plate I was facing the same dilemma. I made first one for myself also from 10 Gauge steel but it was solid, without holes. It performed really well and took a lot of punishment without any problems. But as I was racing that time and as the m20 engine is really heavy, I was desperate about losing the weight from front end of my car to improve handling. I had an option to cut the skid lighter or find an alternative material. Fortunately same time Scania choose our company as one of its part supplier and lots of their parts had to be made from that specific aluminum. I consulted with technologists in my company and they ensured me that this is the material I should go with and so I did. Never regretted. We also redesigned the shape and lost all 90 degree bends. One of the reasons for this was that this material is so strong and it can have cracks if you bend it more than 80 degrees. Second reason was because the impact forces never come straight up if you are driving. They come also with angle. So this will help for sure if you understand what I mean (sorry, it’s hard to explain as my native language is not English ;) )

Main advantage of this skid plate is that it is solid and strong, but still light weight.

Shipping by mail service is included in price. US also. If you need, I can check faster shipping by curriers (DHL, UPS, etc.).
However by mail the delivery time should be within 2 weeks. Last time I was sending it to Australia and it took less than 2 weeks to arrive.
As I`m shipping it from EU, I suggest you guys also check if there are any customs duties applicable in US. But I don’t believe it as the price is not high.

Could we please get more pictures of it installed? And does that price include hardware?

I think the holes/slots in the RS plate is for more air flow to the pan.
I don't think 85% of the market minds the added weight as opposed to smashing a pan.

Was looking at getting a race skid but this seems like the best option! Looking to buy one in the future. GLWS

P.S. Im running the OEM plate on my 325i.

I will not. His plate design, along with this and many alike, fail to structurally support the brunt of any oncoming impact. Support by means of the core support arent really what I have in mind to protect my pan from serious damage. Ej knight plate has shown me 2 fails already, one of my own unfortunately. Dont get me wrong, they make a great product.. And the workmanship is quality, as it is very attractive. But its sole purpose only seems to deflect less than tennis ball sized debris. As I see this plate among the same design concept, I respect the fact the integrity of the plate is not compromised by any reliefs being cut. I've found a proper solution to this overlooked design flaw, and will update pictures of the product ive had constructed for me.
