I have 2 good condition overhead panels for an e30 I managed to acquire. piece goes right above the sunvisor and headliner.
Material still has a lot of life left. Not peeling off the edges but shows de-lamination in corner spots of sun visor area but doesn't appear to spread. Weak spots and mountings have been reinforced and repaired with epoxy. Material has been coated with 303 protectant. However, the tabs where the screws get inserted on the backboard broke off as usual. not an issue when it comes to actually mounting and you can use the ones from your old one for peace of mind.
