Yes, we can do the n54, torque to the masses :D Its is a lot more involved though as tanks etc need to be changed.

It's great to see this being offered. How about tuning the ECU for turbo applications. I've had a few inquiries for S54 turbo manifolds in the E30.

People tend to remove the Vanos when supercharging or turboing.

So there would be a fair bit of work to be done for these types of applications. Ideally you would want to tune on a rolling road.

To be honest although it could be done there are huge hurdles, like fitting the engine and exhaust in, and even if you manage to you have to do it without hurting performance.

You would be financially better off doing an s62 in my honest opinion. It could end up being a very expensive swap. Hardly anyone has done it. In fact only one person I know of has done a diesel swap and that was an n47 if memory serves correctly.

Can you do M54? While I love S54s and S62s, for a DD the low price point, reliability, maintenance, fuel consumption, etc of an M54 is ideal IMO.

It will still have EWS which is easy enough to be wired in!
