okay, so im thinking about parting this car out. its in great cosmetic shape, clean paint, mint interior, but blown motor. its a brilliantrot 1991 318is 5spd, beige vinyl interior, everything is up for grabs. let me know what you guys are looking for, so i can see if its worth parting, or just fixing. thanks!

why dont you just spend a few hundred and put a different motor in there? is it just the head? how much for the car, shipping would bea bitch though

I want other parts but shipping them to NY would be way too much

otherwise I'd take your front and rear vallences too

what paint did you use for the rear vallence or did you have it done proffesionally

i didnt even post pics of the car....im NOT parting out my 325is..LOL, no IS lip, that badboy wasnt there when i bought it, and no aftermarket items(ie: euro grills)

its not just the head. the main bearing was disintigrated along with the connector rods, when i pulled off the lower oil pan, there were HUGE chunks of metal in there.... I would let the car go for $1200.

How much for the cyl head? Or along with the cams and valves, valve springs everything still there.

Also the shift knob does it have the M stripes running from like middle to left? If so I want it.

okay, thats a good list to start with. im suprised it took soo long for any1 to ask about the shadowline. i will have to wait till i get the car back from the shop its sitting at, then i can take a shitload of pics.
