That should be a g260, not a ZF. The ZF is found in 328s and M3s...

may have the donor year wrong. I had another getrag tranny and driveshaft maybe that was the '92. but they did have zfs in e34s. definitely pulled it out of one. it is preferable to the getrag.

again, this was pulled from a E34 525, not a 328 or an M3. 525's got both a Getrag and ZF 5 speed as well as GM and ZF autos iirc. Later, the V8 540's got a beefed up ZF which is the same one in the E36 M3 as i understand.

bump. would take a little less than what i have into it to get it all gone. not doing me any good sitting around.

If you were local. Was this out of an non vanos m50 car then?

this came out of a vanos M50. My 91 had non-vanos which is also the same year they went to vanos.
