SOLD: M20B25 with G260 in LA - San Fernando valley
I have a M20B25 + G260 for sale with 255K on the clock out of a '90 convertible. The engine and transmission was pulled to make room for a s52. It ran great and pulled strong without issues. The only thing is some oil leak but fresh seals should do the trick. I used royal purple and always changed it promptly when the computer called for it.
Within 40k miles or less i had done:
- new rotor and distributor cap
- new 2 pole bosh spark plugs
- new injectors (not refurbished)
- valve job and new timing belt with tensioner
- new head gasket
- new belts
- new water pump
- A/C converted to R134a
- new thermostat housing
- new clutch
- new intake boot
The transmission does not whine. The only thing is that sometimes it's hard to put it in 1st gear. I had it inspected and the transmission shop openned it up, adjusted something and it was good for a while but it does the same thing now. not a big issue. If you put it in 2nd first then it takes the 1st gear with no problem. Or you can release the clutch, push it again and then it takes 1st easily.
It comes with alternator, starter, a/c pump (for R134a), power steering pump, fan, complete intake, harness, computer, all sensors. Coolant hoses to the heater core are missing but everything else should be there.
Asking $650 for the whole package. At this point I only ship it if you have it picked up.
