I have an 88, and am on my 2nd g260, never seen anything like what's in that picture. (first trans was ran without oil before I got it, so no I didn't break it)

Other countries had older motronic versions in later model cars. Seen it before.... Just because its an '89 doesn't necessarily mean its an M20B25 as we know stateside...
