    FS: M54B30 Engine Partout

    Hey guys i have a complete M54B30 that im parting out.


    Head $900 OBO
    (The head has been completely rebuilt cleaned and shaved to spec. Paid $550 to have everything replaced inside.)
    Harness $60
    Cams $175
    V/C $90 (no cracks on the exhaust side)
    Cosmetic Plastics $40
    Complete Intake Manifold
    (w/ Fuel Rail/ICV) $200
    Update 8/10/2012:
    Dual Vanos Unit $80
    Intake & Exhuast Lifters $300 OBO
    Exhaust Cam Gear $30

    Interested in the VC. Can you post any pics and have you inspected the exhaust side for small cracks along the gasket impression?

      Gasket is still in place. i dont think there any cracks but i'll check it out for you. i'll get some pics up later tonight/earli tomorrow.

      Oh and i just found the intake mani.. i believe i have a complete M54B30 im just taking the R/A.

        Take care removing the gasket if it has hardened. That's usually how the sealing impression gets damaged including my friends. If all looks good (and its made for the bolt down type coil packs) then I am definitely interested.

          A hair dryer works well for removing a plasticized gasket from these VCs. Hold it over one spot for about a minute, pull a couple of inches of the gasket out when it gets soft enough to do so, rinse and repeat.

            Oh and btw the gasket is not hard at all, its like 3-5/10 10 rubber hard plastic rubber. i'll get pics tomorrow of the exhaust side of the VC -Unless you meant the head.

              Mainly concerned about the exhaust side of the valve cover, that's where they tend to crack but if the gasket was still soft then it sounds like it may be ok.

                  May need cams, lifters, trays, caps etc. Can you PM me a total price if in good cond. A customer just lost his opn and starved the top end.
