    Custom Short Shifter

    [IMG][/IMG]

Was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying a short shifter, I'm starting to make these for buddies and was wanting try to expand....therefore seeing what you guys think of them.

The pieces will come with hardware too install in car. The bottom bushing is pressed out and one is made from either aluminum or brass on a lathe, ALL the welding is done using a TIG. Baseplate is a 14G steel, looking into something thicker but so far the 14 is holding. And finally the shifter will come with a brass/aluminum bushing on the tranny side inside the shifter selector.

What ya think guys? N I will post pics of the tranny side selector

              Cool.

Make a video showing the throw/play/notch.
This eliminates the carrier right? Shifter will also sit higher?

              Be more detailed!

I'm sure it does, I don't think there is a difference from early to late models

Looks good. Any problems with engine movement causing the shifter to pop out of gear?

I have been using mine for about 5months and I haven't had any problems with the shifter, and it's never popped out of gear for me. And sure if you have good mounts you would be fine anyway.

And for the people that are intrested just PM so we can talk further on get one for you
