Freight should only be 200-300 dollars from you to anywhere short of new England. I use aaa cooper. I don't know if they ship in your area but it is a place to start.

They don't ship in my area otherwise I would use them. The best quotes I've seen were 500+. I had a few people interested from VA, TX, and NY. Once I gave them the quotes on freight shipping they backed out.

Call Rob over at e30 Motorwerks in Huntington Beach, or any of the other known bimmer shops in SD (La Jolla Independent?). I've never shipped a motor personally, but recently spoke to Rob and he ships and receives motors from all over the US and prices are always in the $200-$250-range. Pallet and shrink wrap and you'll be good to go. :up:

that is all a part of selling. get used to it and don't let it get you down. consider it a life lesson. too bad you don't have compression numbers. that would help your sale and put reassurance in the mind of your customers.

maybe part of your problem is your ad. it could use some improvement. the engine looks good in the pics but i think a lot of people don't want to take a chance on the purchase price, shipping, and then have the risk that it may need something serious like a rebuild.

1. Its not letting me down. I've sold tons of stuff. I just think its silly how people act sometimes. Either way I'm fine with it b/c it gives me more exposure when they bump up my thread .

2. You probably have good intentions, but its probably best you stop posting in my thread unless you're a potential buyer. Not only are you making it look like I'm not being honest about freight shipping, now your starting to put thoughts into peoples minds about the items I'm selling. Like I said, I've sold tons of stuff, if there was anything shady about me or my items, I'd be in hot water already.
