    Inexpensive E30 Springs and Adjusters

I believe everything came from Ireland Engineering.

Add adjustability for under $150 bucks

You have top hats to make it a full set of coilovers?
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Shouldn't matter. Coilover springs are all basically the same except the fronts tend to be longer (6") and the backs are about 4-6". I'm assuming that the stiffer ones were run in the rear and the softer ones were up front.

they looked like GC'S eibach springs, but GC's for the rear are not straight springs.

I think some are and some aren't. I know my rear springs are technically coilover springs but I run them with no adjusters or top hats since it's not a barrel spring.

And -ak, aren't only the thin blue/black springs tender springs?

Unfortunately I only have what is shown.

Even if you still paired it with a set of camber plates that accepted a 2.5" race spring you would be out on the cheap.

The tender springs are a universal part that I added because of the spring droop. When the car is in a static position on the ground the spring is fully compressed.

These could be used on anything, in any position. They add about 1/2" to your overall spring height when fully compressed.

They look different then the Eibach springs I have on my race car. As others noted the GC Eibachs are not a straight spring.

Both sets of these are 6" long.

I used the 450#'s in the rear and the 350#'s in the front.

Ie sells a top piece. I modified mine to work with the tender spring. I no longer have those pieces anymore

This is the car with those springs, adjusters, and the tender springs. The ground controls netted a good 1 second gain but I'm going to attribute that to the Koni's more than a spring brand.
