FS: 16" SPAL 3000cfm electric fan!

This SPAL 30102113 was ordered as a replacement for a Ferrari Scuderia but I didn't need it. So it's been sitting for 3 years waiting for a track project that I gave up on, it is new just attemped mock up never mounted for road use. This fan is rated @3000cfm! Designed to pull through 3 or 4 core radiators. Comes with mounting feet (4).

Spal 30102113 16" Extreme High Performance Race Fan. Spal cooling fan for car truck and motorcycle radiators, air conditioning condensors and oil coolers

    $210 shipped or trades...

Is that is, just the fan and mounts?

Or do you also have sensors, etc?

    Thx

Nevermind, sorry... I didn't read: " When maximum fan performance becomes more important than longevity...." & "Note that this fan does not have a sealed long life motor. It is not designed to be used in wet enviroments or as the primary fan on a daily driven vehicle."

I'm sure its a GREAT track fan though.

Yup so basically just don't hose down your motor, use a thermostat or PWM switch to regulate power so the fan doesn't stay "ON" constantly or at full speed... Really?! You can figure out how to use it, or stick with your stock 900cfm unit.

MSRP is $299. I have priced it below eBay... Thanks for reading!

I'm not tryin to bang on you, but dood, come on really?

This is from the link you provided. " Code: 30102113 Price:$224.95 " & " SUMMER SALE! THIS FAN IS NORMALLY $229.95" and that's new, with I'm sure a NEW warranty, not 3 year old assed out no warranty.

And ya, that's why in my first post I asked if you had sensors ie; thermostat, I wouldn't want ANY electric fan always ON.

That's the problem I'm finding here in r3v... There are some that can read and interpret what is written and read from a link and make an informed decision about MAKING a purchase. Then there are others that see an item fir sale and want to editorialize their findings based on what they think (or non-thinking) of what is being offered for consideration. Keep your comments and partial quotes to yourself.

This is an extreme fan. The fan due to its nature doesn't come with a warranty as most race parts don't. If handled with care it will last, if you subject it to the environment SPAL lists it won't. My point is simple, do your due dilligence, buy or don't buy, but don't disrespect peoples post with opinions (non experience) and partial info.

Partial info?... Ok, thur... Thanks for the info guy http://www.a1electric.com/Merchant2/..._Code=30102113

From SPAL: " It is not designed to be..... .....the primary fan on a daily driven vehicle. Looking for a great 16 inch fan assembly for your daily driver? Check out the 30102082"

then you claim its $299 when SPAL says its regular price is $229.95 lol

Wasn't disrespecting... Was just quoting the link YOU provided. I said GLWS... I said I'm sure its a GREAT track fan.

              So again... GLWS

I know there was no ill intent, but copying an excerpt can confuse buyers. No matter, I don't need it, but I will use it... If it's used as a direct replacement on Ferrari's it's good enough for me.
