FS:Shifter Carrier Bushings

Front and rear shifter carrier bushings. I'd like to sell the front bushings as sets with the rears. For those that already have the Uuc or garagistic bushings the rear can be bought separately.

out of stock on ffront bushings. Still have ten plus rears in stock.
Price for both front and rear as a set is $28 shipped and $25 each additional.
Price for the rear carrier bushing is $13 shipped. Each additional bushing is $10 for multiples.

Installation Instructions:

1) Start with the worn out rear bushing mount.



2) Easiest way to remove the remaining rubber is to burn it out with a small torch or toss it in your fireplace for a while.



3) Once it is cool you can clean the bracket and paint it if you are so inclined.



4) Located the new bushing arranged the chamfered end down and press the bushing in from the back.



5) Now admire your new rear carrier that you didnt spend fifty bucks on.



Carrier Modifications:

The rear part of the carrier that installs into the bushing needs to be modified slightly. There are two prongs that stick out that help retain the carrier in the rubber. Both of these need to be ground down so there are no bumps in the shaft. Once that is done the carrier can be inserted into the bushing and installed.
Note: Given that the carrier is a casted part it may have irregular cast mark on it that need to be smoothed to make installation easier.
