    Z3 Antenna for E30

    SOLD OUT.

    PRICE: $65 Shipped.
    This antenna is an upgrade for E30 if your motorized oem one is stuck/broken. (P/N 65-21-8-375-159)
    They can be found on Z3s, 318tis and 318/328ic.
    Plug and Play. These are used not new fyi. New ones cost around $120.
    Use E36 antenna grommet and a fixed antenna (either factory or a short one).
    I am selling the Base only, pictured below.

    Parts that you will need to buy #:
    65-21-8-375-160 x 1 (antenna )
    65-21-8-362-369 x 1 (grommet)

        You replace bulky old mechanically broken antenna with this stationary antenna that does not have moving parts such as motor, gears, mast etc.
        DIY posted in the original post.
        Plug the white wire on the E36 antenna above.
        Ground this new antenna to the same place the stock antenna is grounded to.

        Press 318ti or 318ic grommet through the hole and secure the base from bottom up. Use silicone lubricant spray.
        Screw in your choice of antenna on the top.
        That is all you need to do.

          Yes it is plug and play.
          Here is the pic of e36 antenna base on an e30 with a short screw on external antenna. You can use whichever you prefer: Factory, aftermarket, etc. depending on your taste.

          Below is the shortest screw on antenna:
