Are these used with subframe spacers? Any mounted pictures?

Also interested to know if these mounts are based on the idea of using subframe spacers.

              Hello,
Yes there Pos. 2 and 3
As all projects there will be some fab work needed..
They can be used with or without sub-frame spacers!
These with e34 mount will bolt directly to the sub-frame and clear the pan..

I should rephrase: do these mounts allow for the engine to sit in such a way that drivetrain angle is eliminated or does it require subframe spacers to mitigate the angle?

If these are a direct copies of the 300mm.de then these require subframe spacers.

The point is not to clear the oil pan, the point is to have a straight drive train.

It has long been the norm to use subframe spacers while preforming the m60 / m62 v8 swap into an e30. Where did this norm start? Well basically as far as I can tell it started with an old-er swap guide which you will find somewhat translated here. So for the sake of convenience people

Are you looking to do not use frame spacers with your build?

Nope. Dont like Fng with suspension geometry. Will be making custom mounts i suppose and modding the oil pan. :(

Subframe spacers are a shit solution. It has the handling impact of lowering the front end nearly an inch. Given that most of these cars start out low, they really can't afford the loss. 20mm once you're in the bad part of the curve is huge.
