Very fun motor. I built one very similar years ago with a mild cam. Definitely different than a 24v 2.8l. A good different that likes to keep playing in the higher RPMs.

What would it take to drop this in my 87 is with a WAR chip and MAF? I was going to build an engine but a drop in deal would be nice! And what would it take to get it to Albuquerque?

                Pm PLZ!

Guys, Shant (Myster-E) has done work on a couple of my e30's. He KNOWS his stuff, especially when it comes to motors! Just as important, Shant works with guys who know even more stuff about motors!

Rest assured, this motor is built right and will pull hard and last a long, long time.

$2500 for this motor is a great deal. I built a 2.8 stroker this past winter, mind you I live in Canada and engine machining seems to cost more here, but it cost me around $3000 to build the motor, and that's with less than half the headwork this motor has and I machined the crank myself.

And this is what it could sound like with a vibrant resonator and muffler, gets rid of some of the rasp...
