Most of the shift linkage has been sitting around in pieces since I pulled the transmission 4 years ago, but I should have most of it. The flywheel has also been sitting outside but I have it all.

Yeah sorry I missed that. Im not sure what to do or how to test it. How does the connector look?

It looks fine from the outside. Sometimes they get gummed up and stuck inside and just need to be cleaned out. I will clean it up and play around with it when I get a chance and see what I can tell with a multimeter. I assume it is just a switch with a float that opens and closes the contacts. When do you have to have one?

ASAP :/ I ordered one off pelican parts and it was the wrong one. So Ive already drained all the oil out and no sensor as of now. New one from bmw is ridiculous....

But I may have to make that purchase so im trying to find one today.
