FS: 2 different ALPINE Headunits.

Both of these units are oldschool.

I bench tested both, and both work. They read normal cd's great, and the 2 different CD-R's I tried worked as well. They do light up green, but lighting can be changed with "bulb condoms" or by painting the bulbs with red paint.

Both include the harnesses, although short for use. Both include a good mounting sleeve. Both have mildly broken outside black bezels that could be easily glued in place.

Both are sold as is how is.

I'd like to get $35 shipped each, or $60 for the pair.

I have the manuals/technical specs for both in PDF format as downloaded off Alpines website.

I have the bottom one of the 2 units with amber backlighting and it is a great lowcost upgrade from the stock headunit. Flows well with the overall look of the e30 interior.

Damn, Jordan...seeing those old decks from 1997 makes me wanna post pics of that 2nd gen Alpine from 1987 sitting in the junk box....that thing looks great in an E30 dash.

Believe me people, either of these deck sounds the same as most anything new today, and better than most cheapies.

You didn't mention that the bottom deck has CD changer controls and should work with the Alpine M-BUS aux input.

Luke is right, the CDM-7833 does have M-Bus changer control.

It is also sold!

CDE-7826P remains.
