might be a stupid question but...will the fitment of the M30 plates be universal regardless on how far back, or far forward the M30 engine is installed?

The car used to make the M30 plate is swapped with a M30B35 using old Funkmasta mount arms. The engine is as far back as possible without firewall modification. This will be a very similar fit to the Garagistic mounts as well. Even for those using another brand of engine mount arm, the variance in the position of the engine would only be 1/2" or so. In my opinion this plate will work with any M30 swapped E30.

I'm stoked to get mine on my E30 but the original steering rack bolts are saying no; I can't even remove them and they just spin in place because the inside thread must be so stripped. Who has defeated a cranky bolt in this spot and how? Thanks!

Drill a hole in the middle of the head with a 1/2" bit. It will take the head right off. Voila
Or grind an x in the head with a cutoff wheel and pop it with an air chisel.

I just re-read this. This may be a dumb question.... Do you have a wrench on the nut on top?
