Definitely interested in one of these... Are the mounting holes for the core support different than those for the raceskids plate? It would suck to have to drill new ones.

Unfortunately they are different. The backing plate will help to reinforce it though.

Just sent payment for an E30 M50 skid plate! Looking forward to getting it in there so the E30 can go more low :D

I have the 24v plate sitting at home waiting for me to reach the stage of installing it. The quality is top notch, the tabs and solid construction is surely to add extra rigidity. Though I wish there were angular tabs welded to the main break in the plate, this would add even more protection against the plate collapsing into the oilpan from severe impacts. As is, I'm still very impressed with this plate. Bump!

I know there are a lot of ways it can be strengthened. I had to draw the line somewhere, I really wanted to keep it affordable.
