Would the M42 plate fit under an S52? Need a skid plate but I'm planning on swapping in the next six months.

Yes. The oil drain hole will be way off but other than that it will fit great. The 24v and M42 plates are exactly the same except the drain hole location.

            E30 skidplate with subframe bar

I am going to buy one of these before I get my lowering springs for my 91 325ic ,but I only have one question. Will this Skidplate fit along with the lower subframe reinforcement support that they sell because I was planning on getting that for my car too. Will they both work together ? I think that Subframe bar bolts in behind the area that this would be in so hopefully they can both be installed together. Well , that is my plan anyway. Does anyone know for sure if this is true ?
            Thanx

These have been tested and are fully compatible with the Race Skids X-Brace. I don't see any reason a Mason Engineering wouldn't work but I haven't tested it so I don't know for sure.

Did the first oil change on my 24v swap last night (4500 miles or so). 24v skidplate is scarred the hell up but it has not been deformed in any way and the core support hasnt changed positions. Props for a badass plate. Ive sat the car down on that thing so many times its not even funny. In fact I dragged it across one of those tank covers at a gas station last night and it made a hellatious noise.......Everything is good.
