I spoke with a salesperson at Schrick About their springs. They told me they are not necessary and are offered for sale for people whom are looking for a package deal.

When I had mine I ran the Metric Mechanic Beehive springs.

Only looking for a 272 cam or cash^^

I know you can run the stock b25 springs with this cam. But to get the full use from it you will want the correct springs to keep the valves over extending with such an aggressive cam.

Clearance and performance was designed using Schrick springs. Do you need them? nope, you can use new b25 springs. I ONLY suggest this for daily use as tracking the car will see higher limits. I also suggest IE rockers at the very least for racing, the stock rockers will not handle that abuse.
