quick question...does a 91' 318i have rear drums or disks?

And ASUBimmer- the '91 318i 4door has rear discs, just like your '91 318is, also has an M42. Only non-US cars came with the M40, all US 318i/is' came with the M42 and were sold as '91 models only (except the cabs came in '92 also). The early '84-85 318i's came with the M10 and the rear drum brakes.
I drive my '91 318i 4 door almost everyday, and it's a great car. Alot easier to load stuff in the back seat thanks to the rear doors.
