    running m20.. IE mounts ..scheel seats...5speed swap..m50

Doing a 24v swap.. going to pull my running m20 this week hopefully and I have nowhere to put it.

    Anybody need one?

I just lost my oil pan but i didnt run it low.. I ground through and made a slow leak and leaked out overnight after parking it..

this engine was in my last e30 also and had an issue with tripping the oil press light at idle on hot days.. I usually ran heavy oil, was gonna do an oil pump but It was only a prob at idle so..

Car in the photo is my old 2 door which I pulled the engine from.. its now in my silver 4 door.. Unsure of the mileage at this point but it was last year and the 2 door had about 120K on it

Ill take whatever .. 300 bucks?? obo??

Also I have a crapload of other parts..

-Green Ireland Engineering M20 motor mounts.. only a year old 50.00
    - Scheel Mann seats in need of recovering 150.00

    -e30 5 speed swap- 400

    -e36 g220 5 speed- 300

    -m50 b25 runs, needs intake/harness/etc 400 obo

    - Blk 2door door and rear panels nice shape make offer

I might be interested. Do you have compression numbers or can you get them before you pull it? Any other issues with it? Thanks.

Ill take a compression test before it comes out. It had good power, pulled well. Also I have a dinan chipped DME that can go with it for a little more $$ or a trade..

The valves do need to be adjusted because I replaced a broken rocker arm in a hurry one night to get me home from ohio and never adjusted them correctly.

Timing belt and WP were done not long ago, although you may wanna refresh them.

no issues I can think of besides that. Doesnt burn coolant or oil besides normal consumption. Its really been a bulletproof engine for me.

Oh.. the Ireland engine mounts will not be needed any more by me either

I am looking for a skid plate and a front strut bar if any trades would be considered

                  engine price lowered to 100.00.

I think there may be a slight coolant leak internally... I found the SLIGHTEST bit of oily residue in the coolant expansion tank when taking the motor out. never noticed any brown-watery oil before so i dont know where this came from.. but i have to be honest this engine is probably in need of a reseal and a good look over internally.

It does have a brand new alternator on it

And the IE engine mounts are no good.. I found the pass side to be seperated. Not Irelands fault though this time.. Because the subframe ear broke off this time

bimmer630, Thanks for your honesty. I may have found a local engine. Its still in the car, so I can get the compression numbers. This will be for my track car and I'm hoping to find something that I won't have to rebuild. Good luck with the sale.

any chance on parting out the engine for its head?

Actually as a last resort I was going to pull the head off and sell it. I had a guy here yesterday who was supposed to buy the motor and the 5 speed swap, but backed out because my oil pan is all messed up.
I never drove the car without oil, but the scenario looks fishy to most people.. I have a messed up oil pan, and the engine was pulled from the car. Looks to most people like I pulled it because It knocks or something.

Still have all these parts and need to get them out of this shop.

                            nobody interested in anything??
