Hey i have a Bosch motronic ecu with a Dinan perfomance chip for the 84-87 m20b27, it uses 91 octane fuel and is as simple as disconnecting you ecu and plugging this one in. Great for the 84 because you cant change out the chip in those. Here are some pictures, and a link from Dinan with specs
From my expeience it woke up the m20 and made it more fun!
