I'm that local guy. Hi. I actually have the motor out of my E30 and just ordered replacement tie rods, boots and other hardware for a normal rack replacement. (Mine leaks like crazy.) This would be pretty easy to do with the motor out.

So I'm interested for sure.

well I work in San Carlos, that's quite a bit closer to you too. Just tell me and ill bring it down. You can use the tie rods and boots you ordered to freshen up this one - which is good and comes with tie rods too ; |

Faster rack ratio = less turns lock to lock, improved steering response and feel.

I have a 2.7 rack, I believe they only came on z3 1.9L cars.

It makes a modded e30 into a go-cart.
