Part Out: 89 325is Alpine 5spd 2dr Coupe

Parting out a 1989 325is in Alpine white with tan interior that met its demise on Christmas night.

Front drive fender, both bumpers and valance were busted as a result of kissing a guard rail.

Engine runs great and all the drivetrain components are good.

I'm interested in the engine. How many miles on it? Any issues or major leaks? Has it ever overheated or been rebuilt? How much are you asking?

Engine is fine. Drove it here. Wasn't my car. Used to belong to E30Nub (Dwayne Gable) and he drove it to my shop and it drove fine before the wreck. Most of the damage was to the rear quarter but enough to total it.

Will sell the whole long block with all accessories and wire harness for $250.

Exact mileage is unknown because the PO that had it before Dwayne replaced it. I don't have compression numbers but I can assure you it is a healthy M20. Its rare that I come across a M20 with bad compression unless it has a bad gasket as these engines are not known for having issues with piston rings.

I will have another one for sale I can get comp numbers for that is about to be pulled for a 24v swap but that will be in a few weeks.

I'm in no rush. Would really like to find a low mileage engine with no issues that I can get compression on. I'd like to be able to do a swap without having to worry about a rebuild...just want to do gaskets, timing belt, etc before installing. Let me know when the other one is available.
