FS: 325iX Transfer Case for Automatic

I have a good condition, tight/clean transfer case from a known working AWD Automatic iX. I don't know the mileage but it is tight and should work well.
    $400 OBO.
Shipping from 95602 is available at buyers expense.

Wow. Just looked at an ix today that needs a new transfer case, could this be an omen?

Is it tough to replace? Owner says that it needs the sleeves for the transfer case/driveshaft. Figure it be better to just buy a new(er) transfer case.

Could you give a shipping estimate to 40484? Or just let me know weight/dimensions.
West German BMWs, they just don't make the same as they did before the wall fell.
^Case in point: Auto-Repair Technology. Everytime my car isn't starting or acting up I let it sit, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for days. But it eventually fixes itself.

yes it is a big job as I did one with a friend not to long ago. And the auto case is different from the stick.. Sleeves mean that the shaft is probably stripped or the case side spline is stripped. there is an easy fix but not factory. You can spot weld tabs from the shaft to the case spline to prevent slippage.

Couldn't find a write up on this, do I just suck at searching or does it not exist? I know a pretty good machine shop that builds dragsters all day that would probably be up for this job.
