I have for sale the drivetrain out of my 1990 325is . Need funds for s50 swap.
The Trans I know Is original with 263k as of now. It shifts perfectly , no grinds . But it whines alittle bit. May just need a fluid change, or a new input shaft bearing .typical Getrag rattle . But it'll probably go another 100k no problem . Comes with new selector rod with less then 500 miles on . $100
M20 B25. I have no idea if its ever been rebuilt may have 263k on it , but it's got lots of power and life left in it. Was getting 25 Highway MPG consistently. Idle is the littlest bit rough . 7k on new timing belt and water pump. New coolant hoses as well, leaks oil from oil pan gasket and apparently the PO did something funky with the drainplug? It's no the OE one but it seals fine . New rotor installed as well. Will need exhaust heat shields. $250 can include Mass air flow and airbox as well.
Will sell whole drivetrain for $300 with Flywheel and clutch.
Exhaust: NEW bosal Catback , has 8k miles on it/ 3 months of summer use. Has a cat , not sure how efficient it is, took me a couple of try's to pass emmisions. Has a flex pipe with less then 200 miles on it welded in by my friend after the stock one cracked. $200 for WHOLE exhaust or will seperate .
2 driveshafts to choose from. The one in my car I know works well with no vibrations or the one included with my car that was purchased offline. $100 each. New guibo included with purchase of one installed in my car.
Will be pulling this weekend . If you want to hear the car run , I can take video. We can also make an arrangement to take a ride in the car with the engine and Trans.
