Miles around 165k when pulled. I don't remember it grinding or anything when it was on my car and it would still lock up. Why did I pull it off? When I was driving in snow and shifted from 2nd to 3rd, both rear wheels broke loose and put me in a ditch nose first after doing two 360's! Installed an open differential and have had no problems since. The housing is very rusty, the car lived in NJ for about 12 years.

This weighs 86 lbs. dry, so shipping is not cheep. Shipping from NC to CA in a plastic container is around $110 . If you live closer, shipping will be less.

How hard are they to disassemble? I could ship you just the LSD. 30+ years as machinist/machine designer, I have the tools and the talent to take it apart without breaking it if you can put it back together!

What makes more sense, having one back wheel breaking traction or having both rear wheels break traction? If limited slip differentials worked as good on uneven slippery surfaces as they do on flat dry surfaces every car would have one!

That would be cool. I have a medium 3.73 sitting in the garage I could break open and put the lsd stuff in. unless the cases are different.
how much would you want for the guts and flanges? (everything minus the bad bearing, case, and cover)

....this is not the place for that debate. If you want, we can take it to technical. GLWS.
