As nifty as these are, I think it's funny how much hate there is for anybody that dares to point out that this is a $30 voltmeter. That's a little fucking nuts. I may still buy one, just because I'm occasionally down to support crowd-sourced E30 parts, but still.

and $30 is a lot of money...?

For buying all the pieces/materials, cutting out the faces, tinting them, gluing them to the voltometer and mailing them, I don't think $30 is "a little fucking nuts".

C'mon man, seriously? No need to thread-crap, it's against the rules on r3v. If you have a problem with my pricing feel free to PM me and I'll be glad to explain why this is a $30 item, and not a $5 item.

How about an e28 blank? What if I sent you a blank piece to mount in the 535? Not looking right away but in the next month or so.

                        Thanks!

Are they the same size as an e30 hole?

Yes they are, but they are vertical, instead of horizontal.

There are 4 in an e28, 2 by the cluster that will have the hazard and defrost mounted. And two empty ones by the radio that are vertical(90 degrees compaird to an e30). Unfortunately, you can't move the hazard/defrost to the radio area - the wires wont stretch that far.

Pro tip: - I highly recommend that you install a fuse inline with this. There is zero over-voltage protection on this, so you'd be smart to install a 1 amp or less fuse.

Thanks for the suggestions, GG. I'll have to look into both of those things.

Bump. I have these ready to ship out!
