for those that dont know, this is the same as a 173 ecu, and chips for a 173 will plug directly into this, this will also plug into a car that has a 153 stock, its very nice and works great.

I sold the part to CrJdMc /Connor I know the part works, as it got his car running after he originally had a bad one. If it doesn't sell next week, let me know with the list of the other parts you have and I will get it off you. I took it out of a 1991 automatic 325ic I parted out.

Good price. I agree with the above. The 525 came after the 173, so it's it's just as much of an "update" to a 153 as a 173 is. You can also use any chip that's compatible with a 173. It's my understanding though, that stock 525s have a speed limiter.
