FS: Recaro SPG Pole Position (anti-sub)

Bought it last March from Dave Turner Motorsports in San Diego. $609 new. No tears, just a few scratches on the bottom. Clean condition overall. I'll let it go for $450 + shipping, and i'll throw in steel Sparco side mounts for another $25.

Someone better buy this soon or Pasha will strap a bunch of explosives to himself and blow himself up.

Funny that this is for sale, I was at del taco earlier boasting to kevin about how good sitting in that seat felt at the La Costa Park&Ride. That thing wrapped me in its arms and whispered sweet nothings into my ears.

Pasha - I'm seriously considering taking this seat from you. I'll know here in the next week or so If I can afford it.
          tasty

              new:

450 + shipping, mounts included for free. Shipping shouldnt be too bad, if i can get it under OS2 it shouldnt be more than 40 or so.

I have a bunch of cardboard...you can custom-make a box if you need.

Depending on how I box up this minty E30 dash I sold, I might even have a bunch of 1/2" cardboard you can have...the stuff is seriously STRONG.

I'm interested. Excuse the dumb question, but do the included side mounts bolt into the stock locations?

neg. all the side mounts do is convert the seat to a floor-mountable setup. you still need something to mount them to the floor. you can make your own mounts out of steel, it's not that hard, bimmertoad did it but it's not super clean, or light, or easy to remove. i used the VAC motorsports billet floor mount adapters. they were expensive, but they're light, easy to bolt/remove, and offer many different mounting options.

anyhoo, i got an m-coupe guy who is sending me money as soon as i confirm the new seat fits in my car.

i was looking at ben's cobra imola II GT, but the side mounts don't line up with the floor mounts. i prefer the cobra because it's a lighter, stronger seat, the harness ports are higher, and i can pass the cam thru em.
