i don't know if you want this advice, but shipping should be way less than that.
i have an account with fedex.
about two months ago, i shipped an m3 door that i wrapped in a wooden crate that i built around it. it weighed about 154 lbs and went from houston to some podunk city in washington state.
dimensions of the crate were about 52"x44"x12"
with my account and shipping to a commercial address, the cost was 146.00.
i also have an account with a local shipper(aaa cooper) trucking company. shipping dock to dock or to a commercial address by experience this should cost around 150.00 to 175.00 sitting on a pallet and dropped off at a dock. they shrinkwrap it for free. free pallets come from home depot or lowessigpic

Shipped entire kit in 2 boxes to a guy back east using his FedEx ground account and 440 was what they charged him. At first I had it all in 1 box and they would not take it, had to cut everything down, make the boxes smaller, and separate the stuff. The rear bumper was the killer in the whole deal.i don't know if you want this advice, but shipping should be way less than that.
