Although it may be possible to weld while subframe is in the car, it would be very difficult (even with a lift). You would be able to save alot of aggravation by removing the subframe. We highly recommend removing it from the car. We also offer weld in service if you remove the subframe from the car in our Huntington Beach Location. Tig welded by certified welder.

Motor can be kept in the car by securing on jackstands (BE SAFE!).

Another option is to make a junkyard run and grab a subframe off another car. Once reinforcement is done (and maybe powdercoat/paint), swap onto your car. Just another option.

This would also be a good time to do the front sway bar reinforcement as well.

Thank you for the kind words.

          Pictures of rear reinforcment:

We will also upload picture of this when its all powdercoated and clean!

(note hole needs to be drilled a little bigger on factory hole to accept most sway bar end links on the market, our bracket is the ideal template for that as well).

Great idea. This is what we did on our own shop car. No down time. Drop off the subframe and pickup a completed unit in a week (we hope to stock them and work on exchange in the future).
