FS-auto tranny located in CT...very cheap & will ship

hey guys i just picked up a 1990 325is motor and tranny and have no use for the tranny so im selling it for whatever i can get. i need money to fund my project. heres what i know, the car had 130k on it and the guy who owned it had all work done at a very expensive full restoration shop in stratford, ct. i have no maintenance records but i was told it was working fine when it was pulled out of the car. only reason it was pulled was because the guy crashed the car. anyways i am only asking $200+shipping ($150 anywhere in the US) because i have no guarantee with my own eyes that this tranny is working fine. i know junkyards sell them for anywhere from $500-$800. any questions i will answer to the best of my knowledge but i stated exactly what i know. i can also include the tranny lines and torque conveter, and anything else i have for it with the sale. thanks again-bogan

No one's going to buy that, chances of even getting someone to take it from you are slim.

any special reason? if u say its i have no guarantee it works? if so, the car was crashed so ot obviously worked when it was pulled. but maybe u have another reason so please let me know. thanks

the most common reason is that there is no immediate demand for an automatic transmission.

I am having trouble finding a buyer here on the west coast, and I am asking $50 +shipping

damn, i had no problem selling my automagic trans. you would think e people would want to snatch these up as torque converters aint cheap, neither is rebuilding valve bodies and shit like that.

Maybe you should look in ur local papersfor shops or people that need parts.
