Been opened? Known to be working? Wouldn't mind having an extra eta ecu laying around. This is compatible with 86/87 cars not 84/85 in case anyone is wondering. 84/85 is 021 pink label.
This came with my 4 / 86 parts car shell. It was still mounted with the cut wire harness above the glove box (which was still installed). I'm using the shell for a M50NV so I'm not 100% that this ecu "ran" the car. It has never been opened as evidenced by the lock-tite on the screws and lack of tool marks in addition to the attached ECU haness.
If you need more pictures send me an email at merlinfe@gmail.com entitled "pictures of 027 ecu".

Not true buddy, I have an oem 027 in my 85 Swartz and I pulled out the 021 in the alpine 84 ETA and swapped it with the 027 and it works perfectly good.
