What kind of condition are the blocks in?

One of them was in my old e30m50, has about 130k according to the seller. I'll have to get back to you when I get the motor disassembled, but I don't have the time to measure clearance and whatnot. The other shortblock is disassembled, and looks to be in good condition. To be honest, I can't guarantee that either of them are in perfect condition, which is why I'm letting them go for cheap, and selling them together. I also can't deal with shipping them at this point, sorry.

I'm putting an ad on bimmerforums also, as these parts appeal a bit more to someone who already has an M50.

Hey Brew - Who ground these S50-spec cams? Any further details on them?

        Thanks,

          Thanks,
I bought them, along with the cylinder head, from "cheades". I believe he is a member of this forum, but we went through bimmerforums. I can ask him who did the machining if you'd like.

Absolutely, yes please. Wondering also if they're re-ground, or ground from new.

I sold both of my sets I had, but talk to Delta Camshafts in Tacoma. They were good to deal with and very quick on turnaround.

Thanks Addis. According to cheades, they are re-grinds.

                    What about the NV head?

The one I was planning on using is in great condition. Its still wrapped up in plastic from when I had it resurfaced a few weeks ago. Completely disassembled, so whoever buys it will need to put in valve seals(which come with most head gasket kits). Cams are unused, S50-spec regrinds, as previously mentioned. I was planning on replacing all the hardware on it, so all of the studs are removed and will need to be replaced.
I paid $500 for the complete head, and $175 at the machine shop (checking for cracks, resurfacing).

How much for the cams alone?

I'd rather not sell them separately- I think I'd have trouble selling a cylinder head without cams.
