I am deciding to sell because i just bought a car with a smt-6 piggy back and i will use that for now and go full stand alone later.
i have the ms fully assambled besides all of the "optional" steps, and also do not have the led lights soldered in. You can make it so it fits your needs perfectly and will not have to desolder anything, as all of the "necessary" steps are already done, just the optional stuff you can do.
i have all of the left over baggies and everything for the optional steps.
$260 shipped (250 plus shipping unassambled from diyautotune.com) The unit got recognized on my computer without any problems, and the unit is being sold AS IS, so please do not come back to me wasting my time saying it does not work or something.
one mistake that i did make is that i soldered the doughterboard directly to the main board instead of using the socket. I emailed the tech at diyautotune and he said that is fine and will not cause any problems. You can desolder it and install the socket if you would like, but since its no problem, i didnt bother to do it.
this is a pretty much assambled msII which sells for $450
