WTT: Rear Plastic Bumper for 1988 Chrome

I'm looking to trade my rear plastic bumper for a 1988 chrome with all mounting hardware, shocks, molding, and lights.

You ship me yours I'll mount it up and I'll ship you mine back to you in the same box.

You pay shipping both ways. No other cost to you. I'm not looking to make anything off the bumper, just want to get my 88 back to stockish.

    PM me

Any idea what the shipping cost would look like? (Unfortunately I have no shipping experience )

Isn't the box to ship the plastic bumper going to need to be much larger than the one to ship the (separate pieces of the) chrome one?

Wow, saw the title of the thread and never thought much about it because shipping would be terrible. I am just down the street in Bixby. I have the 1984 Black 2 door driving around town, seems like there is only a few left here in Tulsa.

Looking for an 88 rear specificaly, unless you've already cut and tucked it. The plastic moldings on the 88's are different than pre 88.

And there is a small crowd of E30 guys up in Tulsa. There's 3 of us that I know of.

I did not think anyone would want to go back but I had a complete 88 rear with perfect trim. Junkyard now.

Honestly why trade? your plastic rear is matched to your paint(if that is your car in the picture). I would keep the plastics for future. The 88 chromes are cheap and pretty easy to come across.

All you really need off the 88 is the side plastics because if the wheel arches, you could pull the bumper and shocks off a vert or another year diving board car as long as you have the side plasics that fit your car

I've always liked the 88 bumpers as they look more era correct for an older german car.

The front bumper on my car is still chrome so I figure I'll go backwards on the rear.
