I have never seen those lights on to see what they look like. I have elipsoid low beams, which only have one filament. Guess I am asking how many filiments are in the low beam smiley and how do they function?

They should be single filament H1 bulbs...if that helps any.

Cool thanks. I did not know they took h1 bulbs. And it seems that the smile part does nothing. I thought they went on as a daytime light or on with the parking lights. So far it seems they just look bad ass!

The smiley part glows. Ellipsoid lens in Bosch headlights is bi-focal. .
