How do you know if its a 153 dme? I have a 91 325i that automatic noe it's a 5 speed

153 is for older generation i cars that use motronic 1.1 yours uses 1.3

To confirm, remove the two phillips head screws at the top of your glovebox when opened. Move the black shielding down enough to see what color the sticker on the DME is and the last 3 numbers. Green is 153.

I have a MarkD tune for the 173 but it requires M50 injectors. Just purchased it actually but may just go S50 in my car...
