Ok just having gone through what's left, I've made a couple of collaboration sets out of the best bits left over.
Once these are gone we're out of stock but will get some more in in around a month's time.

Honestly don't know - you never sent any photos.

I don't know exactly what damage there was because you refused to send me pictures so I could see.

In damage situations, I ask for evidence, I show evidence to courier, courier refunds me, I replace item.

At no point does the broken part need shipped back. You say you wanted to ship back to be examined - spend $60-80 shipping one side back instead of a FREE couple of photos?! At no point did I refuse to help.
You say the claim responsibility lies on me? 100% correct. And it will go nowhere without photographic evidence, which you clearly have the means to supply.

Anyway, you've filled two pages of this thread with this nonsense because you decided to get angry, end communications then berate us publicly rather than send a handful of photos and get your item replaced without any cost to yourself. But you're "out" so I guess that's the end of it now.

Again, as I mentioned, all he had to do was tell me he will look into it, its not that hard to write a one liner saying we'll look into it. Seriously its not hard to communicate, you can improve that.

I like how you get upset when people try and defend a reputable seller. You got anger issues don't get all pissy when people make a comment this is an open board don't want other to get involved pm him then that's what they are flipping made for

Just to be clear, they didn't leave here with putty on them. Just in case anyone thought that's how they went out.

Also, Jose railing on how its my fault he chose to do a hash job rather than send me some pictures of purported damage so that I could put a claim in...

Will, how funny that you don't address the fact that I asked for a GOOD set of smileys and got crap, but you only mock my decision making on how to solve MY problem. This could have all been avoided by you sending me what I asked and paid for. And its not, like I stated a 100 times, just the frame and the $2 adjusters... But the base where the adjusters turns/screws on the frame... Its BROKEN!!! Men just do yourself a favor and accurately describe your items rather than justify yourself!!! Own it! The silly putty is my decision. I rather do that and purchase a new set frim someone else than try to solve it with someone that will just not admit to the fact that you did not describe your item appropriately. I'll give my money to someone else. I never asked for money, I asked for me to ship back just the passanger's side for you to examine and exchange! If you needed to place a claim, that's on your end but the customer needs to get what the customer pays for! The silly putty only proves that the product IS BROKEN in several places.... Was it all done by the carrier???

    I'm out!!

We try to treat everyone like they are are top priority. Unfortunately that means that customers here in person get priority over emails and forums. Then I get one of the guys to stay after hours to take care of a few missed emails etc but the effort goes unappreciated. I keep adding staff to try and keep on top of demand but I still need another guy I can trust to handle more of it. We're up to four facilities across two countries but still only shipping from one so that I can *try* to keep on top of it all for now. What can I say, but that I will keep trying to improve the service as I have done since I first sold a set of smileys about 7 or 8 years ago now. It makes it infinitely harder when people who haven't actually bought anything from us jump on the slander bandwagon in my own thread though...

    Will

And again, as you and i have mentioned even if the process of shipping took long it wouldn't be on the seller it would be on the delivery company. Sooo?

Actually, im not complaining about how long its been, obviously the shipping is not on the seller but rather the delivery company. It's not his fault post man didn't grab it, but if I'm asking where its at since it hasn't left his facility he should be able to provide an update within a day not days later. The lack of communication is what I am complaining about. Read it over you'll see i mention multiple times, id be happy knowing information being requested, but definitely not angry about the length of shipping as it hasn't even shipped yet, can't complain about something that clearly hasn't happened.

Also, I believe all of your guy's negative feedback belongs in the "transaction feedback" section. A moderator needs to step in and take care of you guys.

I've been buying and selling parts on R3V for 5 plus years with very few issues, you all have completely blown this out of proportion.

ONE: This is over seas shipping your complaining about, it can take weeks if it gets stuck in customs and it's not his fault if the post man didn't grab the parcel. Shit happens and people make mistakes.

TWO: These cars are 25 plus years old, most of these "wear and tear" items (such as gaskets and adjustment screws) can be assumed faulty. Unless they are claimed to be REFURBISHED units, be prepared to have to perform some maintenance on these USED parts because you are buying used parts.

THREE: This guy has clearly been doing this long enough that he knows what he's doing and is making more than enough doing it. So he's not out trying to screw anyone over, from reading his responses in the emails posted he was obviously trying to help the best he could.

FOUR: Don't expect someone to feel bad for you if you can't provide simple evidence of something being broken or not as described. If a package arrives and has been beaten up by the postmen, take a picture. If you take your parts out and they aren't as described, take a picture. Send these pictures to your seller and politely tell them what you have discovered. If it wasn't their fault they need proof to show for the postman that they damaged it and everything will be taken care of. Not everyone is a crook, but you have to be willing to work everything out in a calm and collected matter.

Don't post pictures of the parts installed on your car and put together with silly putty. For all we know it could have been operator error during installation or adjustment at that point.
