Would you rather we just cancel the rearranged collection then? We could do without the hassle of someone who constantly is jumping the gun, running us down, being cheeky in emails and doesn't have the patience to wait one day for a reply from a different continent. Not to mention ignoring what we've already said, we are capable of working behind the scenes without someone breathing down our necks because they think they're being ignored, and even after its sorted keep on going on the same tact... shoot, we get more money selling these lights locally than to the states but we do it because the people are nicer... usually.

I haven't ignored anything you said actually, again as I mentioned you did not inform me that you would look into it, am I just supposed to sit back and hope that things get done? No i'm not, as a customer I have the right to inquire about what's going on, if after multiple attempts of reaching out to you, you haven't gotten back to me, that is your fault, I wasn't breathing down your necks, again, I only asked if the item had been shipped yet or not. I didn't ask, when was this supposed to be shipped.

no i didn't buy from you cause you were trying to sell me a damaged french yellow headlight set for 400. Looks like you got that poor chap instead. you obviously sent the guy a damaged unit do the right thing and refund his money and pay for the shipping back to you. if you are a reputable company thats what you would do. But after reading this thread it seems to be that your just some kid sitting in your mommas basement selling parts out of the junkyard. #WowIndeedPiker

Its no joke!

Jose was completely unwilling to listen to any guidance on how to sort this. The "broken adjusters" are a couple of $2 clips. The low beam that can't be opened - alloy/plastic friction, same as every set of lights - needs some lube spray to free up. Broken frame - still waiting on pictures to show so that claim can be filed if they were broken in transit. Still seems pretty obvious that if there is damage to the frame, then there is damage claim needs filed.
Anyway, because painting this negative image is particularly unhelpful and inaccurate of how things really panned out, here is a full transcript of all emails sent received since the lights arrived:

Will do but its not only the frame, two of the adjusters just won't hold the lens in place at all.

I apologize if I've insulted you because it is unnecessary, but the truth is I got a crappy headlight and I don't see you trying to work out a way to get my problem fixed while I'm out of $210.

It is really unfortunate the way everything turned out. As you can see from my first post to you, I asked if you had any GOOD SMILEYS LEFT and not if you had a half decent project for me to repair. Later on I emailed you and asked to PLEASE send me something in good shape (why don't you share that email with the group as well). You can't expect for someone paying over $200 for a set of GOOD SMILEYS to be happy when he recieves a set that needs to be refurbished, lubricated and God know what else, to make them work. I actually decided not to waste my time and money (shipping costs to send back) and just put a whole lot of epoxy to make them work. The least you could have done was to accurately describe the item you sold and not sell me a "GOOD" pair of smileys which obviously wasn't the case and then put the burden on me to take pictures, put a claim to the shipping company and wait to see when it was resolved, and how it is resolved maybe incurr in shipping costs to send back to you, when you should have just sent me a GOOD set of smileys, as asked. In any event, I can see now that its not just an isolated issue but it seems you got to look closer into the customer service department and the quality of products you are selling, before you run out of business. I'll send you a picture of my glued smileys for your amusement while you just enjoy the $210 I gifted you.


Just remember, word of mouth is your best marketing strategy and also your worst!

i wouldn't buy a live grenade from him ..... i can not believe what a disaster this has turned out to be for you guys. i will never again gift anyone a single penny in here . i rather pay th fees and be able to open a dispute for something rather then get stiffed like this. I truly feel bad for you guys. He should be banned from doing any further business in here as its not right . again you should refund them their monies and pay for the shipping back as the items were not as you stated.

Are you kidding me? Seriously I have spent thousands on here since I joined in April I've purchased all types of stuff ranging from window switches to a hard top from someone. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. I've had some disagreements w people as is going to happen from time to time. This is just absurd . How are the moderators not stepping in and trying to help you guys in some way. Disagreements or not I consider us all family under the e30 umbrella and I personally would never steal from a family member. Then again I wouldn't steal from a stranger either but I was raised a certain way. Again dude I feel sorry for you. You guys are actually handling it in a very adult and respectful way . I personally would have snapped . But again I wish you guys the best of luck as that could have happened to anyone . Even my smart ass from Brooklyn. I really hope it gets resolved and amicably. I personally would NOT accept those lights in those conditions. ABSOLUTELY NOT !!!!

My dad got me a set of smileys for Xmas from will. There was nothing wrong with them. You guys are blowing shit out of proportion and are impatient bastard. I give people all the time in the world to reply especially when dealing over seas as there is a huge time difference.
